SpecialEffect – Gaming with a Disability

Has anyone been doing any gaming this weekend? If not, would you have liked to? SpecialEffect​ are a charity that can help people with disabilities get into gaming. They can adapt games console control pads, to be completely accessible for you!

The Mobility Roadshow, Donington Park

The Mobility Roadshow is coming to Donington Park in Derby on 25th – 27th June! The roadshow specialises in all things mobility related, such as wheelchairs and wheelchair accessible vehicles. Admission and parking are free, so why not go and have a look!

Radar Keys

Just in case anyone was wondering, Radar Keys (used to open any disabled toilets) can be acquired free of charge from the following places in North Staffordshire:

-The Guildhall in Newcastle-under-Lyme Town Centre
-Disability Solutions located in North Staffordshire Medical Institute, Hartshill, Stoke-on-Trent

They cost £4, or £5 with key fob from Disability Solutions
They are free to residents of Newcastle Borough Council
And to residents of Staffordshire Moorlands they are £2.85
